Dr. Koenigsknecht decided to contract with CRTI, Inc. when he found it necessary to start his own billing service company. He had heard of the QuickSilver Medical Billing System from other professionals in his field. “When we first started business, processing 75 to 125 claims a day would have been enough work for a room full of billing clerks. Return on Investment came within the first year of being in business. Processing claim forms and remittances with paper has been replaced with electronic transmission between the insurance companies. “This software product has the flexibility to work with most Specialty Medical Billing Companies.  The daily activities of charge and payment entry along with patient, insurance company and physician’s inquiries can be performed directly on-line. The technical staff at CRTI has worked closely with our hospital’s IS department to automate the loading of patient profile and insurance information directly from the hospitals admitting system into our AS/400 which has eliminated the duplication of efforts during data entry.  This hospital data transfer sub-system has reduced the in-accurate patient and insurance information being entered by 99 percent.   The days of file cabinet after file cabinet stuffed full have been replaced with purged and active patient history inquiries.  All patient, insurance and physicians daily inquiry calls can be answered without leaving our desks.”
